The earthquake in Chile

When the earth is shaken with its earthquake.

And when the earth throws out its burdens,

And man will say: "What is the matter with it?"

That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil).

As your Lord has inspired it to do so.

That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds.

So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom, shall see it.

And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom, shall see it. (The Qur'an)

How horrible is to read it... So what about experiencing it...

"The Pillow book" book

"In spring, the dawn. The sky, dyed in morning light, slowly brightens and purple clouds stretch across the mountains...

In summer, the night. I need not write of the nights lit by the moon, but of the moonless nights, the fireflies' lights crossing in the darkness. . .

In autumn, the evening. The setting sun burnishes the edges of the mountains and the birds fly home. . . . A trembling line of wild geese flies into the distance and disappears. . .

In winter, it is the early morning. Of course it is delightful when snow is falling, but even when there is a pure-white frost -- or in the freezing cold without either snow or frost -- the way the fire is hurriedly stirred up and coals carried to all the rooms seems most suited to the season...

"The pillow book" movie

"Warm rain falling from the mountainous clouds.
Walking slowly dressed in crimson thinking of Kyoto.
Kissed by a lover in the Matsuo Tiasha garden.
Quiet water and loud water...

Love in the afternoon in imitation of history.
Love before and love after...

If God approved of His creation. He brought the painted clay-model to life. By signing His own name...
Flesh and the writing table...

Writing of love and finding it."

Makan

"a Place" in arabic. A small Malaysian cafe/restaurant in Portobello road.
I never knew how Malaysian food tastes or looks like. Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Middle Eastern - it is amazing how a mixture of cultures, languages, minds and faiths can live together perfectly in a plate:)
